Short fibre silk roughens and pills. Grade is not a marketing scale invented by the seller; it describes the raw material.\n\nHand made shows at the cuffs\n\nBanded cuffs on a silk sleeve are awkward to make and they are the thing that stops a sleeve working its way up your forearm all night. It is the detail worth looking for on any silk pyjama set.\n\nThe two sizes cost different amounts\n\nLarge uses more silk than small, and it is priced accordingly.
